The Conversation

The first step is simple: a call or a message. We don't send a salesperson. You'll hear from Matt or Kandi directly. We'll ask about your project, your timeline, and your budget — and we'll be honest with you about what's realistic. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.

Design & Proposal

After we've visited your home and heard what you're imagining, we put together a written proposal. Not a ballpark. A real document with scope, timeline, and cost — line by line. We walk you through it together and answer every question. When you sign, you know exactly what you're getting.

The Build

This is where most contractor relationships break down — communication goes quiet and the homeowner feels abandoned. McKenzie operates differently. We give you regular progress updates and a direct phone line to the person managing your project. Surprises happen in construction. How your contractor handles them is the difference.

You'll never wonder what's happening on your project. We proactively communicate — you shouldn't have to chase us.

Handover

When the work is done, we do a full walkthrough together. We don't consider a project complete until you've signed off on every detail. We handle punch list items immediately — not someday. And we leave your home cleaner than we found it.
